Photo Selected for 150th Anniversary Calendar
In November the Roger Williams Park Zoo notified this photographer that the photo submitted for consideration to be included in the 2022 150th Anniversary Zoo Calendar would be appearing on the August 2022 calendar page. In total of the many photos submitted only 50 or so were selected, however only 12 of these would be used for a monthly calendar, the remainder would be thumbnail photos for holiday dates within the month.
Bald Eagle Banding Article
In December 2021 I wrote an article that appeared on page 2 of an annual newsletter for Coastal Raptors, a non-profit that undertakes raptor banding in the northwest. The article shared my experience of finding a bald eagle in the wild and researching its history through the identification found on its bands. Click on this link to read the newsletter.
