For a baseball fan, Spring Training is like being in a Candy Store. Every direction has baseball activity taking place. Batting cages and pitching machines, multiple pitcher’s mounds and home plates, infielders taking ground balls, outfielders taking fly balls, rundowns, and pitchers covering first base, everywhere.

I came armed with my Nikon Z6 camera (full frame) and two lenses, the Nikkor 24-70mm F/4.0 S kit lens, and the Nikkor 80-400mm F/4.5-5.6. This combination gave me a range of 24-400mm that covered all my opportunities.
